Seems the greys are becoming so obvious, let me blind them a little, before plaiting my basket threading style, make i no come resemble my maternal great - grandma  (Instructs mama Akpan the hairdresser) abeg help me dye the hair mbok, make i for cover all  them whitey whitey wey full there (mama Akpan obliges her, assembles her hydrogen peroxide and co, dyes hair staunch black,drys and performs  raffia-weaving-like basket thread style on her hair,  hair is happy and hairing, Sanctimo mama smiles like a Cheshire cat, every one is happy.

Normal-status quo aunty: (goes to her hair dresser )"... Ehen ify, i don buy the attachments o na knotless braids, you Will use the colour one for the braids as usual na, then this colour 340 na for the tips you go put am, i no dey like all those shouty shouty colour wey "okuenu" girls dey use o...."  Her hair is fixed,hair is hairing, Aunty- statu is overjoyed, everyone is happy .

Free-spirited woman :

"...just feel like experimenting and having adventure with my hair, let me see how the new looks feels like, if jt will even suit my facial structure . (cuts hair, treats it to a feast of flaming-bright ox blood  colour,. Looks in the mirror and smiles with delight at her amazing transformation, hair's happy, woman feels happy and delighted)

Aunty Sanctimo( sees the lady on flashy cropped hair) nawaa o, all these hefaya-bound ladies, why would someone change her God-given natural hair colour? The end is finally here
